Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive

Inventory Controller cum Procurement

professional to manage end-to-end inventory control and purchasing operations for our F&B business. The role is critical in ensuring optimal stock levels, cost control, vendor coordination, and smooth supply chain operations across kitchen and outlet functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Control

Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly inventory for food, beverages, and non-food items Conduct regular stock counts and variance analysis Investigate and report discrepancies, wastage, pilferage, and over-portioning Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices and proper storage standards Maintain accurate inventory records in the system Coordinate with kitchen and operations teams to control food cost

Procurement

Raise and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers to ensure best pricing and quality Ensure timely procurement aligned with production and operational needs Track supplier performance (price, quality, delivery timelines) Maintain approved supplier lists and contracts Coordinate with finance for GRNs, invoicing, and payment follow-ups

Reporting

Prepare inventory and procurement reports (usage, variances, slow-moving items)

Compliance & Coordination

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and company SOPs Work closely with kitchen, store, finance, and operations teams Support audits and internal controls as required

Requirements

Minimum

2-4 years' experience

in F&B inventory control and procurement Experience in

restaurants, cloud kitchens, hotels, or catering

preferred Strong knowledge of food costing, inventory systems, and procurement processes Proficient in MS Excel and inventory/ERP systems Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-concept environment
