Role Purpose: To oversee the site's inventory to ensure seamless and reliable operations at all sites across all Majid Al Futtaim territories that LEC operates in. To ensure optimization of inventory, whilst implementing cost control measures, in line with the agreed standards, with no disruption to operations and customer experience. Role Details - Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Inventory Management . Monitor and maintain current inventory levels, process purchase orders as required, track the orders, and investigate issues, if any. . Receive, unpack and re-stock items as necessary, and label shelves. . Record purchases, transfers, and wastage in MC on daily basis. . Perform physical stock-take of Inventory and reconcile actual stock with that recorded in MC. . Investigate and validate physical stock-take variance and report it to the Site Manager and F&B Inventory Control Manager, citing reasons and action taken. . Validate all processes of inventory transactions ensuring alignment within the Inventory control department and performing quality control on data. . Monitor day-to-day tasks related to Inventory transactions in the Site. . Ensure proper implementation of all related policies and procedures. . Investigate and analyze anomalies gathered from MC and operations, in order to collaborate with F&B Inventory Control Manager for solutions. . Create Vista/MC Item forms for both new items and modifications for existing items. Share the form with F&B Inventory Control Manager, whilst keeping the Site Manager informed. . Monitor the historical stock levels, and accordingly set up the PAR Stock levels for each item, to be updated in MC. Cost Control . Support the F&B Inventory Control Manager to control and minimize losses and decrease variances. . Liaise with inventory supervisors of multiple VOX sites, chefs, suppliers, and F&B team, as required, on matters pertaining to Items, Recipes, GRN, transfers, and wastage. . Conduct spot checking, expiry date checking, and audit recipes. . Analyze the wastage and variance and suggest actions to minimize them. . Review menu engineering and assist the operations team to act on the slow-moving and high-cost items. Reporting . Regularly update the Site Manager and F&B Inventory Control Manager with reports such as Stock Receipts, Stock Transfers, Stock Wastage, Stock Variance/Deviation reports, and Concession Sales reports. . Share with the F&B Inventory Control Manager & Site Manager, the Stock take Review reports, explaining reasons for discrepancies, if any. 2 Definition of Success/Financial KPIs . Maintain Cost of sales as per given target . Maintain Wastage and Variance within acceptable percentage as defined in the policy . Checking the Expiry date for all F&B items . Monitor and maintain inventory levels to avoid overstock or out of stock . Review recipes with Chefs Other Context (if applicable): . Be available to work night shifts, and on weekends and public holidays as per the roster Functional/Technical Competencies: . Computer literacy and expertise in MS Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint . Strong written and oral English communication skills . Knowledge of inventory management and cost control . Knowledge of working on Vista and MC Personal Characteristics and Required Background: Personal characteristics . Interpersonal skills, good time management, and problem-solving skills . Being a good team player . Strong work ethic with the ability to prioritize, organize and meet deadlines Minimum experience . At least 1 year of inventory control experience with MAF Leiser, Entertainment & Cinemas, or a minimum of 2 years of inventory control experience in the Food & Beverage industry. . Materials Control/Micros experience preferred Minimum qualifications/education . Minimum high school certificate
