Internship Opportunity: Teach Arabic and Tamazight to International Students

Are you a student specializing in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language?

Would you like to gain real-world classroom experience in a multicultural, immersive environment?

Roots Academy is offering a 2-3 month internship for motivated and passionate trainees who wish to strengthen their teaching practice by working with international learners studying Arabic and Tamazight in Rabat.

Main Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing and delivering Arabic or Tamazight lessons Adapt teaching materials for different learner levels and needs Participate in cultural exchange sessions and language activities Support classroom management and learner engagement Provide feedback and evaluations under supervision Contribute to curriculum development and teaching resources
Required Skills & Qualities:

Strong command of Modern Standard Arabic (MSA); Amazigh is a plus Interest in language education and intercultural communication Creativity and adaptability in teaching strategies Professionalism, reliability, and a team spirit Basic knowledge of using digital tools for teaching (e.g., Zoom, Google Docs, PowerPoint) Previous experience in language instruction (preferred but not required)
Eligibility:

Undergraduate or graduate students specializing in Arabic language education, TAFL, or linguistics Availability for 2 to 3 months Commitment to professional growth and reflective teaching
