NYU Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) seeks to appoint a Internship Specialist, to join the new Stern at NYUAD team. NYU Stern School of Business and NYU Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) have partnered to offer the Stern at NYUAD One-year Full-time MBA program. The launch of the program signifies a new era of advanced business education that will support the growth of knowledge-based economies in the region. It is a transformative educational opportunity for students from around the world that are looking to establish or further their careers in the MENA region.

The Internship Specialist role will support the Career Development Team. The Specialist will assist in organizing a matching mechanism for employers for the internship course, assist with the creation of a student feedback survey as well as an employer feedback survey, and creation of marketing materials. They will administratively support the internship course user experience for both students and employers.

As an integral member of the Career Development Team, the Internship Specialist will work to ensure MBA students have a seamless process in the project selection portion of the internship course. They will think strategically about how the internship course can be made more efficient and relevant for stakeholders which include students,

employers, and the team for reporting purposes.

The Internship Specialist will have an understanding and experience in employer relations and/or internship course/program management. Successful candidates will be highly organized, able to think independently, solve problems proactively, be innovative, and communicate effectively with teammates. The Career Development Team makes data driven decisions and the Internship Specialist is expected to always have the data in mind when making decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• The Internship Specialist will assist in organizing the selection process for the internship course and support the team preparing for employer meetings and presentations. They will administratively support the employer and student user experience of the internship course, by helping employers create project descriptions, collaborating with faculty, and run post course surveys
• Manage survey and reporting for the internship course to ensure a seamless experience for both students and employers
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required Education:

• Bachelor\'s Degree

Required Experience:

• 2+ years experience working with international organizations
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Outstanding communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel inside UAE
• Demonstrated ability to work well with a team and external audiences
• Ability to think critically
• Ability to independently suggest solutions to problems as they arise
• Ability to work on multiple projects at once
• Ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, students, and external partners
• Demonstrated ability to organize successful events which included multiple stakeholders
• Track record of learning things quickly
• Familiarity with the usage of CRM systems
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel/Word and Google platforms. Familiarity with database management
