Tasks

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The HR Intern will be responsible for the following:
  • Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Intern will be responsible for the following:
  • Organise and maintain personnel records in he HR Information Systems (HRworks and Success Factors)
  • Update HR system (e.g. personnel changes, identification document updates)
  • Prepare HR documents such as letters and Certificates
  • Liaise with external partners- i.e. insurance vendors to update starters and leavers
  • Recruitment administration- advertise roles, arrange interviews, request references
  • HR form advice management- T.O.I.L, business cards, employee information etc.
  • Onboarding- administer and collate all relevant documentation
  • Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics
  • Answer first line HR-related employee queries as delegated by the HR Advisor
  • Supporting our employees while conforming to company policies and labour laws
  • Intern administration - intern recruitment, immigrations process, accommodation management, onboarding and offboarding
  • Participation in ad-hoc HR projects as required (e.g. process mapping, induction guide, HR systems rollout)
  • Reception cover for lunch and vacation shared amongst all interns
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
  • Bachelors Degree in HR/ CIPD or equivalent - completed with the last year or in progress
  • Advanced computer literacy (MS Office applications in particular)
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner
  • Excellent oral and written English skills, preferably candidate with international experience within an English-speaking market
  • Attention to detail
  • Outgoing personality
  • Ability to grasp new tasks quickly
  • Availability for 6-month period
WORKING HOURS
  • Fulltime position
  • Monday to Friday from 9am-6pm (weekend Saturday/Sunday)
PACKAGE
  • *Accommodation (room in shared intern apartment)
  • *Transport (rental car shared with other interns)
  • 800 USD monthly income
  • Working visa and health insurance
  • Leave allowance- 5 days
*Live out option can be explored, subject to additional AED 500 per month toward transportation costs in line of shared vehicle and shared apartment
