Responsibilities:

• Patient Care:

Conduct comprehensive medical examinations, including taking patient histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests. Diagnose and treat various acute and chronic illnesses, such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, respiratory conditions, and infections. Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient\'s needs, considering their medical history, symptoms, and preferences. Prescribe medications, therapies, and lifestyle modifications to promote health and manage diseases effectively. Monitor patients\' progress over time, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide ongoing medical management.

• Preventive Care:

Educate patients about preventive measures, lifestyle changes, and health screenings to reduce the risk of illness and promote wellness. Administer vaccinations and immunizations according to established guidelines to prevent infectious diseases. Screen for risk factors and early signs of common conditions, such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, and metabolic disorders.

• Collaboration and Communication:

Coordinate care with specialists, consultants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient management. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis in clear and understandable terms. Document patient encounters, medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Continuing Education and Professional Development:

Stay abreast of advances in medical knowledge, technology, and evidence-based practices through continuing medical education (CME), conferences, and self-directed learning. Maintain board certification and state licensure by fulfilling continuing education requirements and participating in recertification processes as necessary.
