has partnered with a leading who are hiring an Internal Auditor to be based in Umm Al Quwain.

The main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Perform risk-based internal audits of the banks operations, processes, and activities to assess the adequacy of internal controls and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with business units to develop action plans to address identified issues and ensure appropriate remediation measures are implemented.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of risk assessment frameworks, internal control frameworks, and audit policies and procedures.
- Conduct stress tests for various macroeconomic factors and assess the impact on portfolio quality.
- Development, validation, research, and other data analytics tasks.
- Stay updated with relevant regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and emerging trends in internal auditing to enhance audit methodologies and practices.
- Bachelors Degree. An MBA in Finance/Economics/Business Admin is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing BASEL Reporting.
- Must have experience within the banking industry in the UAE.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and reporting standards. IFRS-9 is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
