Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Internal Audit Manager in fulfilling the department's mandate.
- Review and update Internal Audit governance documents (e.g., ARC Charter, Internal Audit Charter and Internal Audit Manual) annually or when needed.
- Conduct Internal Audit Risk Assessments.
- Contribute to the development of the Internal Audit Plan based on risk assessments.
- Perform audits in accordance with the approved Internal Audit Plan, Audit Charter, Audit Manual, regulatory requirements and global best practices.
- Monitor and follow up on the implementation of Management Action Plans.
- Undertake consulting services and special investigations as approved by the ARC.
- Carry out other tasks as delegated by the Internal Audit Manager.
- In-depth knowledge of Internal Audit best practices.
- Familiarity with Regulatory Requirements.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to write persuasively in both English and Arabic.
- Business acumen.
- A bachelors degree, preferably in Business Administration or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as CIA, CRMA, CFE, CISA or similar are highly preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Internal Audit within a related field.
