Job Description

The Internal Auditor is responsible for evaluating the company's internal control systems, financial records, and compliance with UAE laws and regulations. The role ensures accuracy and transparency in financial reporting and supports management in strengthening internal processes. The candidate must have solid experience in auditing and taxation, particularly UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

oConduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.

oReview and verify accounting records, financial statements, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.

oEnsure compliance with UAE VAT laws, Corporate Tax regulations, and other applicable financial legislation.

oEvaluate and monitor financial transactions to identify discrepancies, irregularities, or potential areas for cost savings.

oPrepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.

oAssist in developing and improving internal policies, procedures, and workflows to enhance efficiency and transparency.

oSupport external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation.

oPerform surprise cash counts, inventory verification, and operational audits as required.

oAdvise management on financial control and tax compliance matters.

oMaintain confidentiality and uphold professional ethics in all audit activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

oBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CA, CIA, or ACCA certification is a plus).

oMinimum 2 years of UAE experience in internal auditing or accounting.

oStrong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.

oSound understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and risk management.

oExcellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.

oHigh attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month
