Internal Auditor

Evaluating the adequacy of internal Control System, identify areas of potential threats and proposes measures to mitigate risks. Conducting internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of financial controls, risk management systems and operational processes. Assessing and ensuring the company's compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies in India. Providing the immediate Manager with accurate and timely reports on financial audit findings, including recommendations for improvement. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management strategies.

Tasks

Plan and execute audit engagements, including data analysis and testing. Reviewing supporting documentation. Adherence to applicable internal control systems. Identify and investigate potentially fraudulent activities or financial irregularities. Prepare and present audit reports to immediate Manager. Collaborate with HODs for regulatory compliance assessments. Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and execute remedial actions.
Stay updated with the latest industry regulations and best practices in internal auditing.

Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounts or a related field. Professional certification, such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or CA (Chartered Accountant). 3+ years of experience in internal auditing or related financial roles. Strong understanding of International accounting standards, taxation and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in using data analysis tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate at all levels. Ability to work independently. Working knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Ability to adapt to changing regulatory environments and industry practices.

Preferred skills

Experience in conducting audits in a regulated industry. Knowledge of ERP systems and experience with data analytics. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
