Job Description
Responsibilities:Conducting internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of financial controls, risk management systems and operational processes.Assessing and ensuring the companys compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policiesProviding management with accurate and timely reports on financial audit findings, including recommendations for improvement.Giving independent and objective assessments of the organizations operations, financial statements and internal controls.Proposing recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and identifying other areas of improvement.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management strategies. Required SkillsBachelors degree in finance, accounting or a related field.Professional certification, such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or CA (Chartered Accountant).5+ years of experience in internal auditing or related financial roles.Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, taxation and regulatory requirements.Proficiency in using audit management software and data analysis tools.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.Experience: Minimum 4-5 years in Big4 companies.Track record of running consolidation projects.Experience of ERP, Oracle, SAP or equivalent systems would be beneficial.
