Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Auditor

with

3 to 5 years of professional experience

in external audit, preferably within the UAE or GCC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing audit engagements across various industries, ensuring compliance with

International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

,

International Standards on Auditing (ISA)

, and UAE regulatory requirements.

This position is best suited for a self-motivated professional with strong technical knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute

statutory and internal audit engagements

in compliance with firm methodology and auditing standards. Perform risk assessments and develop audit strategies tailored to client business models. Conduct

substantive testing, analytical reviews, and control evaluations

across all major financial statement areas. Prepare, review, and finalize

audit working papers, financial statements, and management letters

. Identify control weaknesses and provide practical recommendations for improvement. Liaise directly with clients to gather audit evidence and resolve audit queries. Ensure compliance with

UAE laws and regulations

, including VAT, ESR, and AML requirements where applicable. Supervise and guide junior auditors and review their work for accuracy and completeness. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of

accounting and auditing standards

, as well as changes in UAE financial regulations. Support senior management with ad hoc projects and client reporting requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in

Accounting, Finance, or Commerce

. Professional certification such as

ACCA, CA, CPA, or equivalent

(part-qualified may be considered with relevant experience).

3-5 years of external audit experience

, preferably with a reputable audit firm in the UAE or GCC. Solid understanding of

IFRS, ISA

, and risk-based auditing techniques. Proficiency in accounting and audit software (e.g., CaseWare, QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or similar). Strong analytical and documentation skills. Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience auditing Knowledge of

UAE VAT

and other compliance frameworks is a strong plus. Arabic language skills are an advantage but not mandatory.
