Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute internal audit engagements in accordance with the annual audit plan. Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. Review financial and operational processes to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies. Identify control gaps, inefficiencies, or potential fraud risks and recommend solutions. Prepare clear, concise audit reports and present findings to management. Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation by the relevant departments. Assist in the development of audit programs and tools. Support external auditors and regulatory bodies during inspections and audits. Stay updated with changes in regulations, industry trends, and best practices. Promote ethical practices and help foster a culture of integrity and accountability.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications preferred (e.g.,

CIA

,

CPA

,

CISA

).

Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in internal auditing, external auditing, risk management, or a similar role.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit software (e.g., ACL, IDEA, or SAP preferred). Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
