We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical

Internal Auditor

to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of our internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. The Internal Auditor will be responsible for performing audits, identifying areas of improvement, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct audits of internal controls, financial operations, and compliance with company policies and procedures Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls, risk management processes, and governance structures Prepare detailed audit reports that include findings, recommendations, and management responses Review financial statements, operational records, and other data to assess accuracy and compliance Identify and report on weaknesses or inefficiencies in financial, operational, and internal control systems Assess the risk exposure of different departments and business units Perform special investigations or audits on request (e.g., fraud investigations, compliance audits) Work closely with department heads to ensure understanding and improvement of audit findings and recommendations Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and track corrective actions Assist in the preparation of audit plans, risk assessments, and risk mitigation strategies Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and industry best practices related to auditing and compliance Coordinate with external auditors during the audit process, providing necessary documentation and explanations Support the preparation of internal audit reports and presentations for senior management and the board of directors Conduct periodic follow-ups to ensure implementation of approved audit action plans
