The Internal Audit Manager - Real Estate and Construction role in Dubai leads risk-based internal audits across Majid Al Futtaim Group, with a focus on real estate and construction activities. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute internal audit engagements covering real estate and construction activities including project management, procurement, budgeting, and contract management
• Develop annual internal audit plans based on enterprise risk assessments, strategic priorities, executive input, and prior audit outcomes
• Maintain rolling audit plans for key risk areas, leveraging management risk assessments where appropriate
• Design audit programs and procedures aligned with industry best practices to evaluate internal control effectiveness
• Act as the main point of contact for audit-related matters, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders
• Identify process improvement opportunities based on audit findings, regulatory changes, and best practices
• Ensure adherence to corporate and departmental policies and procedures
• Lead innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within internal audit and advisory activities
• Manage audit teams and oversee complex audit engagements across functions

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Project Management
• 7 to 9 years of experience in internal auditing with strong exposure to real estate, construction, or project management environments
• Proven ability to identify, assess, and evaluate risks and internal controls
• Experience leading audit teams and managing complex, multi-stakeholder audits
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills across internal and external parties
