The Internal Audit Manager will lead the internal audit function across the Auction Group and its operating businesses, with a strong focus on anti-fraud, cash protection, and governance. The role will support holding company initiatives and provide independent assurance to senior management and the Audit Committee on the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Anti-Fraud & Cash Control (Core Focus)
Design and execute anti-fraud audit programs across auction, automotive, logistics, F&B, and support functions.
Identify and assess fraud risks, revenue leakages, manipulation risks, and control override scenarios.
Review and strengthen controls over cash collections, refunds, and reconciliations.
Review buyer/seller settlements, commissions, deposits, advances, and receivables.
Conduct surprise audits and spot checks at branches and operational sites.
Support investigations into suspected fraud, irregularities, or misconduct.
Auction & Operational Audits
Audit end-to-end vehicle auction processes including intake, inspection, valuation, listing, bidding, settlement, and vehicle release.
Review branch-level compliance with SOPs and internal control standards.
Assess operational efficiency, margin protection, and process discipline.
Group & Cross-Business Audits
Conduct audits across automotive services, logistics, cafes/F&B operations, IT platforms/Portals and shared services.
Review inventory controls, wastage, pilferage, pricing, and margins.
Review inter-company transactions and related-party dealings.
Holding Company & Audit Committee Alignment
Develop a risk-based annual internal audit plan aligned with holding company objectives.
Present audit plans, findings, and risk themes to senior management and the Audit Committee.
Track management action plans and unresolved high-risk issues.
Support governance, compliance, and internal control frameworks.
Provide assurance support for investor readiness and future funding initiatives.
Reporting & Advisory
Prepare clear, practical, and impact-focused audit reports.
Provide advisory input on new branches, business lines, systems, and process changes.
Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and regulators.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Professional certification preferred: CIA, ACCA, CPA, CISA.
6-10 years of experience in internal audit, risk, and forensic audit roles.
Strong experience in cash-intensive and multi-branch operations. Prior Experience in Holding Companies, preferred.
UAE/GCC experience preferred.
