Responsibilities & Duties
The Intern - Project Manager will play a pivotal role in pre-contract project delivery supporting architectural design projects following predictive project management methodologies and be trained to carry out the following:
Day-to-day assistance to Senior Project Managers in the delivery of projects
Assist in proposal preparation and tender submission procedures
Coordinate and collaborate with the Design Team
Prepare and manage project execution plans, organization charts and status reports
Work closely and effectively with clients and internal project teams
Daily program management throughout the program life cycle
Defining the program governance (controls)
Planning the overall program and monitoring the progress
Managing the program\'s budget
Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements;
Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies
Managing and utilizing resources across projects
Managing stakeholders\' communication
Aligning the deliverables (outputs) to the program\'s \xe2\x80\x9coutcome\xe2\x80\x9d with the aid of the business change manager
Managing the main program documentations such as the program initiation document.
Qualifications
Bachelor or Master\'s Degree in Project Management, Architecture, Engineering or related AEC degree from an accredited University
Must have graduated within the last 12 months or graduating no later than June 2023
Successful applicants must have a minimum 3.4 GPA or 2:1 (or equivalent) and above
Candidates must be currently based in the UAE
If you hold a Master\'s Degree, you must have started it within 12 months of completing the Bachelor\'s Degree in order to have continuous education
Methodical approach to problem solving
Effective time & task management and leadership skills
Excellent organization and verbal communication skills are essential
Ability to use initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently
Advanced in Microsoft Office
Software experience in industry standard project management software is preferred
Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail, must be able to demonstrate accurate report writing
Understanding in Gantt chart programming
