Provide field engineering support for installation, test, operation, and/or maintenance of equipment.
Provide technical expertise to subcontrators, project team members and less experienced personnel
This person will develop his work in the depots/customers' capacities and even on track and will be responsible for providing electrical/electronic support in technical issues during the commissioning and warranty of any of our projects, with regards to our scope of supply: Propulsion and Controls equipment for railways rolling stock
Key responsibilities (describe key responsibilities in order of importance and specify the approximate amount of time, e.g. in % related to the typical business cycle)
1. Performs a variety of field engineering assignments such as installation, test, operation and maintenance of equipment
2. Investigates the causes of electromechanical equipment/subsystem failures and develops alternate solutions. Devises test procedures to evaluate performance and performs failure analysis to be returned to repair
3. Collaborate in the design of special tools required for field maintenance or modifications
4. Supports central control operation and recovery
5. Ensures and respects HSE rules. Reports immediately any deviation.
