Job Description

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer / Architect to join our construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing creative interior and architectural designs for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, preparing detailed drawings, and coordinating with site teams to ensure smooth project execution in compliance with UAE building standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Drawings

Develop and present interior design and architectural concepts for in-house construction projects. Prepare detailed shop drawings, layouts, and 3D renderings using AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp. Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and site teams to integrate design and structural requirements. Prepare material boards, specifications, and finishing schedules as per project standards.
Project Coordination

Conduct site inspections to ensure the design is implemented according to approved drawings and quality standards. Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors for material selection and approvals. Ensure timely submission of design deliverables in line with project timelines. Prepare and update BOQs (Bills of Quantities) and assist in cost estimation when required.
Authority & Compliance

Ensure all designs comply with Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, and other local authority requirements. Support documentation for authority submissions and approvals.
Client & Management Interaction

Participate in client and consultant meetings to present design concepts and gather feedback. Coordinate with the project management team to ensure design intent and client satisfaction are achieved.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a recognized institution. 3-7 years of relevant UAE experience in interior design and architecture. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, 3D Max, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office. Strong understanding of construction drawings, materials, and finishing details. Knowledge of UAE authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DCD, etc.). Excellent communication and coordination skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
