The Interior Stylist is responsible for curating, sourcing, and styling interior spaces to create cohesive, aesthetic, and functional environments aligned with the design vision. This role focuses on the final layer of design, enhancing spaces with furniture, accessories, art, textiles, and decor to deliver a compelling and complete design outcome.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with designers to understand project concepts, mood boards, and design direction.
Curate and source styling items including accessories, soft furnishings, artwork, plants, books, and decorative objects.
Style residential, hospitality, retail, or commercial projects to enhance the overall aesthetic and meet client expectations.
Conduct styling installations, ensuring each space is arranged to photographic and client-ready standards.
Maintain and update styling inventory, sourcing new products and staying updated on trends.
Manage budgets related to styling procurement, ensuring selections align with project financial parameters.
Communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and installation.
Prepare styling proposals, mood boards, and presentations for client approvals.
Oversee styling logistics, including packing, transport, setup, and final quality checks.
Qualifications and Experience:
Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Styling, Visual Merchandising, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 2-4 years experience in interior styling, set styling, visual merchandising, or similar.
Strong aesthetic sense with the ability to create balanced, curated spaces.
Excellent knowledge of decor brands, suppliers, and markets locally and internationally.
Experience with styling for photoshoots is an advantage.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
