Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Interior Draftsman

to join our interior design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing precise technical drawings, detailed layouts, and construction documents for interior design projects, ensuring that all plans align with the design intent, building codes, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Create detailed

2D and 3D drawings

using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other relevant drafting software. Translate design concepts and sketches into accurate

technical drawings

for construction and fabrication. Prepare

floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed joinery drawings

. Collaborate with interior designers, architects, and contractors to ensure drawings reflect the design intent. Revise drawings based on feedback and design changes. Maintain organized documentation and version control of all drawings. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards. Assist in site measurements and preparing as-built drawings as needed.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in

Interior Design

,

Architecture

, or related field. Proven experience (2+ years preferred) as an

Interior Draftsman

in the interior design or architectural industry. Proficient in

AutoCAD

, SketchUp, and other drafting tools. Revit or 3ds Max is a plus. Strong understanding of
