Key Responsibilities:

Create design concepts, mood boards, and presentations based on client requirements. Conduct site visits and client meetings to gather project briefs. Prepare detailed 2D layouts, zoning plans, and 3D visualizations. Ensure compliance with building codes, safety, and accessibility standards. Select appropriate materials, furnishings, finishes, and color schemes. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for samples and approvals. Present design proposals to clients and incorporate feedback. Ensure client expectations are met throughout the design process.

Project Planning & Scheduling:

Prepare and monitor project timelines using tools like MS Project or Primavera. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and in-house teams. Review drawings (architectural, MEP, etc.) and ensure coordination among trades. Resolve technical issues on-site and provide engineering solutions. Monitor site progress to ensure timely and quality execution. Assist in preparation and verification of Bill of Quantities. Track project costs and suggest value engineering options. Liaise with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials. Validate received materials against specifications. Maintain records of design revisions, approvals, and project changes. Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and update stakeholders. Coordinate closely with the design, procurement, accounts, and project management teams. Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Required Skills:

Bachelors/Masters in Architecture 3-7 years of proven experience in interior fit-out projects (commercial, retail, or residential). AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or 3Ds Max MS Office, MS Project, or Primavera Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, MEP integration, and interior finishes. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
