Junior Interior Designer - Lighting Design Specialist

Gulf lights is a creative lighting design and supply firm delivering innovative, high-quality lighting solutions for residential, commercial, and architectural spaces. We're looking for a talented and motivated Junior Interior Designer to join our team and specialize in lighting design -- blending aesthetics, technology, and function to create inspiring environments.

Responsibilities:

Assist in developing lighting design concepts for interior and exterior spaces Prepare design presentations, layouts, and lighting plans using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit Support senior designers in selecting fixtures, finishes, and controls Produce technical drawings, schedules, and mood boards for client presentations Collaborate with project managers, architects, and suppliers to bring designs to life Stay current with lighting trends, technologies, and design standards
Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field 0-2 years of design experience (lighting or interiors preferred) Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit; SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite a plus Strong eye for detail, composition, and design aesthetics Passion for lighting, architecture, and interior design Excellent communication and organizational skills
