Position Overview:

We are hiring an Interior designer with proven experience in natural stone, Wood and Aluminum contracting, particularly with mechanical cladding systems. The role involves precise interpretation of BOQs, reviewing shop drawings, and preparing detailed estimations for both tendering and ongoing projects. The ideal candidate will coordinate closely with design, procurement, and site teams to ensure accuracy and cost control across multiple packages.

Key Responsibilities:

Study BOQs, project specifications, and architectural/shop drawings for accurate take-offs and costing Prepare detailed material quantities and labor estimations for supply and installation of marble, granite, travertine, and other natural stones Analyze mechanical fixing systems for facades and cladding to assess quantity requirements Evaluate tender documents and prepare pricing breakdowns for bids and variation orders Coordinate with draftsmen and design team to align quantities with approved shop drawings Track and update material consumption, site progress, and cost deviations Support procurement with quantities and specifications for supplier inquiries Prepare interim payment applications and support commercial negotiations Maintain clear documentation for cost tracking, submissions, and approvals
Requirements:

Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in natural stone or facade contracting Strong understanding of mechanical cladding systems and stone fixing methods Proficiency in reading architectural/shop drawings and extracting quantities Solid knowledge of Excel, AutoCAD (basic), and BOQ software Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and multiple concurrent projects Strong attention to detail, cost awareness, and communication skills Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
