Position: Interior Designer

Type: Full-time

Salary: AED 3,000 to 3,500 per month

We are seeking a creative and skilled Interior Designer specializing in furniture design for residential and commercial interiors. From concept development to production, you will create sketches, technical drawings, material specifications, and 3D models using CAD software. You will also source materials and collaborate with manufacturers, suppliers, and retailers to bring your designs to life.

Key Responsibilities

Design and create furniture tailored to customer requirements and specifications. Develop technical drawings and 3D models of furniture designs. Work closely with the production, estimation and execution team. Source materials and components from suppliers. Visit clients' spaces to take accurate measurements for furniture designs. Ensure projects are completed within budgets and timelines while maintaining high quality. Stay updated on furniture design trends and developments.

Requirements

Proven ability to design furniture to meet customer needs. Experience in developing detailed technical drawings and 3D models. Proficiency in creating prototypes and testing designs. Familiarity with raw materials like wood, metal, plastics, and so on. Collaboration with designers and engineers. Knowledge of industry trends and developments. Knowledge of software's - 3dsmax, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, V-Ray / Corona as well as basic Microsoft office

Skills

Creative flair and technical expertise in furniture design. Strong interpretation of customer requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Ensuring project completion within the allocated budget and timeline.

Additional Information

Ability to Commute/Relocate:

Must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Sharjah before starting work.
