The Role
Job Objective: Assist or lead design team members in the design and specification of assigned design projects for clients. Design services include: design concepts, space planning, commercial furniture specification, site visits, and furniture installation drawings. The Interior Designer key responsibilities include visualizing and sketching design plans. Main Duties and Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in planning in-house projects and in preparing drawings accordingly to National Paints concept. \xe2\x80\xa2 Implement and maintain all interiors and displays in the showroom. \xe2\x80\xa2 Inspect the showroom and verify that everything is in compliance with National Paints guidelines. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in the design and specifications of projects assigned with specific from the Marketing Manager. \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversee the installation of materials, furniture, and other design elements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain current knowledge of trends and materials, techniques, and other developments in interior design.

Requirements
Qualifications: \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Interior, Industrial or Architectural Design from a reputable University. \xe2\x80\xa2 3+ years of experience in a design-orientated role (e.g. architecture, interior design, visual merchandising, furniture/office/space planning). \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent in English skills both oral and written. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficiency in AutoCAD, Illustrator, SketchUp or similar design software. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent communication skills, especially in regard to communicating an artistic vision. \xe2\x80\xa2 Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience with color selection is a plus.
