Our client is hiring on a freelance basis to support its technical team of designers & order processing. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high-energy environment. They will be a creative and analytical problem solver with a passion for delivering results.
Duties & Responsibilities
Design:
Design the Kitchens & Furniture for the Showrooms, Retail Customers & Projects with all its utility & aesthetical features.
Develop detailed layouts & drawings (Plan, Elevation, Perspective, Sectionetc.) with the use of applicable software.
Organizes the design plan & budget estimate for the Kitchen / Furniture, designed.
Coordinate with customers to ensure that all their requirements & specifications are assimilated with the company\'s Group standard products.
Ensures that layouts and design plans are prepared in accordance with customers requirements & specifications.
Order Processing:
Detailed quality check of the orders placed by the NFZE Partners
Place the orders to factories in Germany after complete assessment of the customers requirements.
Coordinates between customer & factory in processing the orders in terms of its techno-commercial requirements, aesthetics & specifications.
Shipment planning based on priorities and appropriate container volume in collaboration with the Logistics Team.
Associate with Finance Department on the accounting aspect (receivable & payables) of the orders.
Qualification & Experience
3-5 years of experience
Degree or Diploma in Interior Design or related field: A degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field is typically required for a designer cum order processor role. It is also desirable to have some experience in designing and processing orders for high-end kitchens.
Knowledge of design software: Knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, Revit or any other 3D modeling software is essential to create design plans and 3D renderings.
Knowledge of technical aspects: Technical knowledge of materials, kitchen manufacturing, installation process is essential to provide technical support to customers.
Computer skills: Proficiency in using computer software programs such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and inventory management software is necessary for processing orders.
Kitchen/ Furniture designing skill using specific software such as Winner, Carat, Plannit, 20-20 and KPS will be an add-on merit.
Organizational skills: Must be highly organized to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Time-management skills: Must be able to manage their time efficiently to meet project deadlines and ensure that orders are processed in a timely manner.
Team player : The designer cum order processor must be able to work effectively with other team members to ensure that orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
Overall, a designer cum order processor for the company, who can also support customers on the technical aspects, should have a degree or diploma in Interior Design, knowledge of design software, and proficiency in using computer software programs. Technical knowledge of the materials, kitchen manufacturing, Installation process, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and time-management skills are also essential. Additionally, experience in providing technical support to customers would be desirable.
