About the Role

Al Mujassam is seeking a talented and driven interior designer to join our growing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the local market, excellent design and presentation skills, and the ability to manage both creative and practical aspects of interior projects from concept to completion.

This position requires a bilingual professional (Arabic and English) with a valid UAE driving license and car.

Key Responsibilities

Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project goals. Prepare detailed BOQs for interior design works and provide accurate cost estimates. Assist clients in selecting materials, finishes, and furniture that match both design intent and budget. Source and evaluate materials from local suppliers and shops, building a strong vendor network with competitive pricing. Conduct site inspections at key stages to ensure design intent is implemented correctly. Lead a small design team, coordinate with freelancers, and review their work. Collaborate closely with architectural, structural, and MEP departments. Develop and maintain design standards, mood boards, and presentation templates to elevate the firm's interior design quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum 5 years total experience, including at least 3 years in the UAE. Strong understanding of local materials, finishes, and market pricing. Excellent communication and client-handling skills in Arabic and English. Valid UAE driving license and car.
