Job Summary: As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualising, planning, and executing interior design projects for residential, commercial, or industrial spaces. Your role will involve understanding client requirements, creating design concepts, selecting materials and furnishings, and managing the implementation of the design. You will work closely with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand client requirements and project objectives to develop innovative and functional design concepts.

• Create design proposals, including space planning, colour schemes, material selection, and furniture layout, considering aesthetic, practical, and budgetary considerations.

• Prepare detailed design presentations, including mood boards, 3D renderings, and sample boards, to communicate design concepts to clients effectively.

• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure design feasibility, compliance with building codes, and adherence to project timelines.

• Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and other design elements based on client preferences, project requirements, and industry standards.

• Prepare and review construction drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and detailed specifications, ensuring accuracy and clarity for implementation.

• Oversee the procurement and installation of materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment, coordinating with suppliers, contractors, and vendors.

• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor the progress of projects, resolve design issues, and ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards.

• Manage project budgets and timelines, tracking expenses, negotiating with suppliers, and providing regular updates to clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Interior Design or a related field.

• Proven experience as an Interior Designer, with a portfolio showcasing your design projects and creative abilities.

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or other relevant tools.

• UAE Driving License is mandatory

• Min 4years work experience in Interior/Joinery/Fitout/Decor Industry in UAE

• Strong knowledge of design principles, space planning, color theory, materials, and finishes.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.

• Strong organizational and project management skills.
