Job Description

The Interior Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing interior spaces that align with the company's aesthetic, brand, and functional requirements. This role involves working closely with project, construction, and procurement teams to deliver innovative, high-quality interiors across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Concept Development

Develop creative design concepts, mood boards, and layout plans based on project briefs. Prepare detailed drawings, 3D renderings, and material specifications for client approval. Ensure designs align with project budgets, timelines, and brand identity.

Project Coordination

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors during design and execution stages. Conduct site visits to ensure design accuracy and resolve on-site challenges. Supervise installation of interior finishes, furniture, lighting, and decor.

Client Interaction & Presentations

Meet clients to understand their vision, preferences, and project goals. Present design proposals, color schemes, and material samples professionally. Adjust designs based on client feedback and practical feasibility.

Documentation & Procurement

Prepare detailed BOQs (Bills of Quantities) and coordinate material sourcing with suppliers. Liaise with vendors for furniture, lighting, and finish selections. Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and approvals.

Compliance & Quality

Ensure all designs comply with UAE building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards. Maintain consistency in quality, style, and brand presentation across projects.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. 3-6 years of professional experience in interior design (preferably in real estate or hospitality). Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, and rendering software (e.g., Lumion, 3ds Max). Strong knowledge of materials, lighting, color theory, and spatial planning. Excellent communication, presentation, and project coordination skills. Creativity balanced with a practical approach to cost and timelines.
