About the Job
Project Interior Design Planning, Development and Execution
Develop/ contribute in space planning, FF&E (Furniture, Furnishing & Equipment) statements of requirements and scope of work for consultants and contractors for interior design works for new projects in collaboration with the end users.
Develop specifications/standards and guidelines for in-house use. Participate in the review of interior/architectural design works of consultant/contractors to ensure that they are in accordance with the agreed scope of work and contract requirements.
Verify drawings, specifications and other technical documents for all types of projects in accordance with contract documents within the contractual time frame.
Monitor the work of Project Management Consultants specialists to ensure quality of work.
Co-ordinate the interior design work interface between existing and ongoing projects to ensure optimal system design.
Participate in review of in-house engineered works including drawings, specifications scope of work and annexure to meet end user requirements.
Provide professional assistance to Project Managers, Procurement Services and Projects Control through all phases of ongoing projects and the design specification and drawings are fully coordinated with other discipline engineers.
Ensure cost-effective solutions and application of value - added engineering design throughout the duration of projects.
Ensure that state-of-the-art technology is applied in the selection of finishing materials and FF&E materials.
Technical Bid Evaluation
Verify the bidders list/tender documents prepared by consultants. Participate in technical evaluation of tenders/bids for selection of finishing materials and FF&E materials.
Provide input in the evaluation of extension of time (EOT) claims and notifications from contractors/ consultants.
HSE & Quality
Supervise construction progress to ensure quality of work compliance with the contract requirements.
Coordinate on quality, HSE, planning and cost control related activities and arrange/ prepare for internal HSE/Quality auditing.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Architecture or relevant degree for this job
At least 6 years of experience in civil/building projects including at least 3 years in architecture/interior design works.
