Job Purpose and Key Accountabilities Tasks:

Purpose:

Supervise and train technical personnel, implement project management procedures to ensure timely completion of projects, and apply knowledge of communication installation techniques to client processes

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities
  • Understanding technical integration technologies such as API operations and XML and JSON concepts, as well as other web and database technology so decisions can be made on project plan requirements and where appropriate doing minor coding to support the technical requirements.
  • Working with clients or partners on fit gap analysis and other forms of business analysis
  • Ensure clients and vendors and internal resources are on-track with their requirements so the project plans remain on-track.
  • Design, develop, and maintain integration flows using an array of different platforms, APIs, databases, protocols, and data formats
  • Collaborate and review code with other developers in engineering and sales operations to ensure each integration maintains a consistent level of technical standards as set by the team.
  • Meeting with external customers and/or third-party providers to determine technical requirements and define the scope of integration projects
  • Documenting all activities in manner suitable to enhance the understanding of both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Analysis, troubleshooting and testing of integrated software systems, including performance tuning of configuration/setup
  • Providing 3rd level technical support for customer issues
  • Preparing documentation and presenting progress reports
  • Training and mentoring of junior staff

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
  • Ecommerce experience is required

  • Experience in payment gateway and POS is preferred

  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
