Prepare technical specifications, mapping documents, and unit test cases.
Design, develop, and perform unit testing for new services or upgrades.
Configure channels and WSRR (WebSphere Service Registry and Repository) for applicable new services.
Provide support during the testing phase of projects and participate in the defect management process.
Coordinate with application teams, business analysis teams, and testing teams for support activities, dependencies, and issue resolution.
Conduct peer reviews of documents and codebases.
Installation and Technical Administration
Install, configure, and administrate compliance solutions.
Offer first-line technical support to the business and generate ad-hoc reports.
Collaborate with vendor support for health checks, maintenance, support escalations, and technical assessments for business enhancements and system upgrades following change management procedures.
Support audit reviews by providing requested technical explanations and evidence for report closure.
Project Support
Participate in and support the rollout of unit initiatives as directed by project managers.
Troubleshoot incidents, provide diagnosis, and maintain acceptable system performance.
Offer root cause analysis and assist with workarounds and permanent fixes provided by vendors.
Escalate issues to management, including risks, showstoppers, high-priority items, and impacted cases.
Adhere to IT and bank standards and follow established procedures.
Maintain system availability, performance, and security within agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs) to minimize business impact and financial loss.
Attend business operations calls and provide first-line technical operational support.
Deliver assigned IT project tasks to meet agreed-upon business requirements within established timelines.
Support business continuity through participation in periodic system disaster recovery (DR) rehearsals, security updates, technology updates, backups, hardware and software maintenance, license management, and technical design enhancements for assigned systems.
Provide business with necessary information and ad-hoc reports.
Ensure the quality and service level of vendor support and development meet standards.
Comply with training policies and attend awareness sessions to stay up-to-date on support and technical aspects of assigned solutions.
Foster positive working relationships with business stakeholders and professionals.
Keep technical documentation of assigned systems up-to-date following any system changes.
Take over system support from project technical teams after rollout and go-live.
