Job Brief
We are seeking an experienced Integrated Media Planner/Manager to lead our traditional media planning and buying efforts. This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive media strategies across traditional channels, with a focus on maximizing client ROI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media planning and buying for TV, radio, print, and out-of-home advertising, as well as the ability to support digital initiatives when needed. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and execute integrated media strategies, with a primary focus on traditional channels while supporting broader marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Traditional Media Planning and Buying
Develop and execute strategic media plans across traditional channels (TV, radio, print, OOH)
Negotiate with media vendors to secure optimal rates and placements
Manage media budgets and ensure cost-effective spending
Analyze audience data and media consumption trends to inform planning decisions
Coordinate with creative teams to ensure seamless campaign execution
Performance Analysis and Optimization
Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reports to clients and internal teams
Analyze media metrics and adjust strategies to optimize campaign effectiveness
Conduct post-campaign analysis and develop insights for future planning
Client Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on traditional media matters
Present media plans and campaign results to clients
Collaborate with account teams to ensure media strategies align with overall client objectives
Team Collaboration
Work closely with the Digital Media Manager to ensure integrated cross-channel strategies
Support digital initiatives as needed, providing insights on traditional media integration
Collaborate with other departments (creative, production) to ensure cohesive campaign execution
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
5+ years of experience in media planning and buying, with a focus on traditional media
Proven track record of developing and executing successful media campaigns
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in media planning tools
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Understanding of media metrics and performance indicators
Familiarity with digital media platforms and strategies
