Job Description

Summary:
  • Integrated Avionics Systems Instructors will train foreign military students in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to produce qualified technicians in their assigned specialties who are able to maintain aircraft systems, subsystems, support equipment, and/or provide logistics support and expertise with little or no supervision.
  • Training shall provide students specialty Upgrade Training to elevate skills from 3-level to 5-level, 5-level to 7-level, on F-15SA aircraft, Client engines, and associated support services for the following specialty.
Instruct on the following Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for instructing aircraft systems troubleshooting, on-equipment repairs, component removal and replacement, aircraft ground handling, servicing, and cleaning IAW AFI 21-101.
  • The contractor shall have F-15 knowledge to inspect, analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain aircraft avionics systems such as attack systems, instrument systems, flight control, communication, navigation, identification, and penetration aids.
  • Have the skill to interpret, operate, troubleshoot, remove, replace, repair, service, overhaul and install avionics system components.
  • The contractor shall be able to isolate avionics failures using wiring diagrams and schematic diagrams.
  • The contractor shall perform reprogramming of avionics/electronic warfare systems as required by applicable mission directives and TCTOs.
  • Any and all other duties as directed by the Program Manager/Site Manager.
Required educational/skills background:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience and possess 7-level craftsman or equivalent rating in the Integrated Avionics career field.
  • Possess minimum two (2) years' experience in F-15 avionics.
  • Previous instructor qualification highly desired.
Physical Demands:
  • This position requires normal physical functions. Work may require frequent bending, reaching, and climbing. May frequently lift and carry items weighing up to fifty pounds and occasionally lift heavier items with the assistance of other workers. Work may be performed on top or under equipment in cramped or awkward positions, including the F-15 cockpit.
Work Environment (ADA):
  • May be required to work in areas in or near a hangar/ flight line that may be noisy at times. May be exposed to moderate discomforts, such as heat, cold and wind. May be required to wear personal protective equipment when in or passing through a hazardous area.
  • Office environment, hangar and flightline
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud at times
