Position Overview
Orient Insurance PJSC, part of Al-Futtaim Group, is seeking an Insurance Data Analyst to support the underwriting division by managing premium records, analyzing statistical information, and ensuring compliance with underwriting standards. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional eager to develop a career in insurance analytics and data management.
Core Duties

• Develop and maintain applications to process and store premium-related data for the department
• Design efficient coding and input procedures to ensure accurate data entry and easy retrieval
• Analyze premium data and produce detailed statistical reports for management review and decision-making
• Prepare monthly and ad-hoc computerized reports to support business objectives
• Maintain both computerized and manual records systematically to ensure operational efficiency
• Stay updated on developments in data processing systems and relevant insurance regulations
• Verify that policy terms, endorsements, and conditions align with underwriting agreements
• Assist in reviewing policies and endorsements to ensure compliance with internal guidelines, industry standards, and treaties
• Highlight discrepancies or critical findings to underwriters and recommend corrective actions

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Science, Arts, Business Administration, or Insurance (AII/Cert CII)
• 0-2 years of experience in general insurance underwriting or data-related roles
• Exposure to property, casualty, liability, engineering, and financial lines is advantageous
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
• Proficiency in time management and meeting deadlines under pressure
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated professional
• Effective team player with the ability to share knowledge and collaborate across departments
