To manage and coordinate all insurance-related activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of patient claims, adherence to DHA and insurance regulations, and smooth communication between the clinic, patients, and insurance providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinic Admin
Manage day to day operations.
Billing, Registration.
Selling Health pacakges, DHA work, DHA Inspection internally with Medical Director.
DSC Reporting, Dialy revenue reports, Inventory Management, HR Management
Maintain Staff file, Schedule interviews as per the requirmeents, Facility and Service Management
Manage day to day requirements in the clinic
Keeping the records of PPM, and regulatrory requirements
Staff Management, Making the letters for the management.
Daily revenue report, Monthly Reports
Opening and closing of the sales and stocks
Payroll and Attendance managment along with accountant
Insurance Coordination & Approvals
Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility prior to services.
Obtain pre-authorization and approvals for treatments and procedures.
Ensure all documentation complies with DHA and insurance requirements.
Claims Management
Prepare, review, and submit insurance claims accurately and on time.
Follow up on pending, rejected, or underpaid claims.
Maintain proper documentation and claim tracking records.
Billing & Reconciliation
Coordinate with the accounts department to reconcile insurance payments.
Verify invoices against approved claims and received payments.
Ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
Compliance & DHA Policy Knowledge
Ensure compliance with
DHA standards, policies, and insurance regulations
.
Stay updated with any changes in DHA or insurance company policies.
Support the clinic in DHA audits or inspections related to insurance processes.
Patient Support & Communication
Educate patients about their insurance benefits and coverage.
Handle insurance-related queries in a professional and timely manner.
Coordinate between doctors, patients, and insurance companies as needed.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain accurate records of all claims, rejections, and payments.
Prepare regular reports on claim status, collection trends, and insurance performance.
Assist management in optimizing the revenue cycle process
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
Minimum
2-3 years of experience
as an Insurance Coordinator in a healthcare facility (UAE preferred).
Strong
knowledge of DHA policies, eClaimLink, and insurance claim processes
.
Familiar with healthcare insurance portals and claim submission software.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
