Perhaps differently than you are used to, as an Insurance Advisor at Boskalis you operate at the crossroad of insurance and legal. It is precisely the legal component combined with the close cooperation with colleagues from the legal department and the various business units (particularly project and tender teams) that makes this position very interesting in terms of content. It is obvious that there are risks involved in Boskalis' activities, which makes our company extremely interesting for you as an Insurance Advisor. If you add to that the fact that our company is in a state of flux, such as the various acquisitions in recent years, you can imagine that we have a lot of interesting issues for you as an Insurance Advisor. Your responsibilities as an Insurance Advisor:

• Advisory role within the Dredging, Offshore Energy and Salvage division in tender processes and in the implementation phase. It is your job to scan the contracts in the field of liability and insurance and advise on this. The various contract forms and diverse activities within our broad global scoop of work contribute to the complexity of the matter.
• Provide support for major contract renewals (H&M, P&I, War, Tows, AVB/Umbrella and CAR).
• Claims handling.

Your qualities
You can make your mark as Insurance Advisor if you have:

• Bachelor or master degree in a related field or legal.
• Several years of relevant work experience in the insurance industry in the local insurance market preferably with maritime sector.
• A good command of written and spoken English.
• You are an enthusiastic, proactive Insurance Advisor with a solid personality.
• You can internally fulfil the role of insurance advisor well, but you are also able to take strong position if needed. The latter based on your knowledge and communication skills.
