Job Responsibilities: . Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual statutory financial statements. . Perform the day to day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, fixed asset records, statutory accounting, etc. To include monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts. . Assist with the preparation and filing of all Tax Return to NBR filings. . Assist with annual Independent External Financial Audit file. . Prepare reconciliation of Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable that include ( Broker, Customer, Garages, Reinsurance, Motor TP reconciliation and intercompany reconciliation) . Prepare journal entries for approval and postings that include technical number ( Premium and claim) . Test claims and underwriting reports for accuracy and proper implementation of controls. . Maintain Adjustment, provision, prepayment, accruals working and ensure to post it in to system. . Preparing receipt vouchers . Preparing payment throughout Bank transfer or CHQ payment . Prepare cash and bank reconciliation. Requirements . Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, preferred but not required. Insurance experience a plus. . Knowledge of insurance, understanding accounting treatment of technical numbers . Work experience in finance department in insurance company for at least 3 years. . Able to work effectively in a team environment. . Demonstrate organizational and time management skills. . Proficient in Windows based software. Strong Excel skills required. .
