Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced
Instrumentation, Telecom & ELT Technician
as part of a tender submission. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair ofinstrumentation, telecom, electronic low-voltage (ELT), and control systems
withinoil & gas, petrochemical, or similar industrial facilities
, including solar power plant installations.Key Responsibilities
Perform operation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of
instrumentation, telecom, and ELT systems
. Maintain and supportProcess Alarm & Gas Alarm (PAGA) systems
. Operate and maintainTETRA radio, VHF/UHF radio communication systems
, and associated networks. Maintain and troubleshootAudio Visual systems, CCTV cameras, Access Control Systems
, and communication networks. Support operation and maintenance ofSCADA and Building Management Systems (BMS)
. Maintain and troubleshootDriver Virtual Simulator Systems
(where applicable). Perform maintenance onSMART field instruments
, including: Flow meters Level transmitters Temperature transmitters Motorized valves Solenoid valves Maintain and troubleshootPLCs, SCADA systems, traffic light systems, vibration monitoring systems
, andFire & Gas systems
. Supportweather monitoring stations
associated withsolar power plants
. Ensure compliance withinternational codes, standards, OEM manuals, and approved maintenance procedures
. Maintain accurate documentation, calibration records, and maintenance reports. Follow allHSE requirements and site safety procedures
.Qualifications & Experience
Three-year Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent qualification
.Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
as an Instrumentation / Telecom / ELT Technician. Proven experience inoil & gas, petrochemical, or similar industrial facilities
. Strong hands-on experience with: Instrumentation and control systems Telecom and ELT systems SCADA, PLCs, and BMS Fire & Gas and PAGA systemsSkills & Knowledge
Familiarity with
international instrumentation, telecom, and safety system codes and standards
. Strong troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Language Skills
Good spoken English skills are mandatory
