Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Instrumentation Technician

to join our team in the

Resin Manufacturing Industry

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of process instruments and equipment using in production processes. This role requires strong technical expertise in instrumentation, control systems, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the integration of process control systems and the process instruments in the production facilities. Develop technical specifications and documentation for process control systems.

Calibration & Maintenance:

Perform regular calibration of instruments such as control valves, loadcells, pressure, flow, temperature, and level sensors. Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities. Ensure the proper maintenance of all process instruments, reducing downtime and ensuring equipment reliability. Conduct troubleshooting for instrumentation failures and make necessary repairs or replacements and ensure the process instruments are met the safety, quality, and efficiency standards

Compliance:

Ensure all instruments are complies with industry safety standards and regulations. Provide technical support to the operations team for resolving instrumentation-related issues. Train plant operators and other team members on proper instrumentation handling and safety procedures. Maintain the supportive documentation

Required Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering.

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instrumentation or control systems engineering, preferably in the resin, chemical, pharmaceutical or petrochemical industry. Strong knowledge on process instruments, DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems. Experience in working with process control systems, control valves, transmitters, and other instrumentation used in the manufacturing of resins.

Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in installing, and maintaining instrumentation systems in industrial settings. Strong troubleshooting skills with a deep understanding of instrumentation in process plants. Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with advanced process control and optimization techniques.
