For more information, visit Worley.com Primary objective Carry out instrumentation design engineering activities, including coordination with the instrumentation design groups, to engineer tie-ins from a new offshore complex to an existing wellhead platform Specific Accountabilities Duties will include equipment selection and specification, detail design in collaboration with designers and bid evaluation/ vendor document review and approval. Modifications to Cause and Effect diagrams and Functional definition of required Process Control & Safety systems Quality Assurance - Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Oil & Gas Business Unit Safety - Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Oil & Gas Business Unit . Understand and follow OH&S procedures

Job Specific Knowledge: Specialized expertise of the regulations, codes and standards and a good understanding of onshore and offshore engineering practices applicable to Instrumentation & Control design for oil and gas facilities. Specialized expertise in design specifications for field instruments, control & on-off valves, DCS/PLC systems, F&G systems, liquid & gas analyzers, Gas Chromatographs, condition monitoring systems, etc. Specialized expertise in developing calculations for SIS loops, orifice sizing, control valve sizing, thermowell wake frequency, etc. Specialized expertise in developing DCS functional logic, PLC logic, hook-up drawings, loop drawings, wiring diagrams, interface drawings, cable block diagrams, cable schedule, panel layout drawings, cable routing drawings, cable tray/duct layouts, instrument layouts, etc. Expert knowledge of offshore installation techniques on brownfield projects on live facilities Strong technical background in either Electrical or Instrument Engineering (with knowledge of the other discipline). Working knowledge codes and standards. Expertise in preparation of Instrument Installation details, Junction Box wiring, Instrument Interconnection drawings, instrument Cable Schedule, Safety grounding layout, Instrument Loop drawings and Material calculation (MTO), datasheets/ specifications of various instruments. Highly effective technical and practical engineering skills in the Instrumentation & Control discipline, and able to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its clients. Specialized expertise of the fundamental requirements of the Instrumentation & Control discipline, and the basic requirements of other disciplines. Specialized expertise of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements

Industry Specific Experience: Minimum 8 years design experience within the oil and gas industry, with last 5 years' at least, at a senior level in a team of Instrumentation & Control discipline engineers and designers Extensive technical, and practical experience in the Instrumentation & Control discipline in the same or similar industry

Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: Full-Time Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering from an accredited university MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement.
