Job Description

7 years of Experience in Sewage Water treatment industry.
Instrumentation Engineer leads the instrument maintenance team, plan for the daily job, ensures the availability of all resources, initiates work permit and ensure the closer of work orders.

Instrumentation Engineer plans for the periodic and predictive maintenance of field instruments and ensures its completion within due time frame.

Instrumentation Engineer is responsible for trouble shooting of all plant field instruments.

Instrumentation Engineer plans for the calibration/certification/ validation of all field measuring devices/analysers and ensures that the calibration/validation due date must not expire for the functioning instruments.

Instrumentation Engineer plans for shut down/brake down activities related to instrumentation assets.

Instrumentation Engineer plans for the spare parts, initiates the process of its procurement and ensures that the adequate number of spare parts are available at warehouse.

Instrumentation Engineer is responsible for maintenance of plant auxiliary systems like CCTV, Fire alarming and suppression and plant intercom network.

Instrumentation Engineer studies and reviews the design documents for any site/equipment design modification.

Instrumentation Engineer co-ordinates with third party vendors/contractors/suppliers for jobs related to instrumentation.

Instrumentation Engineer co-ordinate between section and other department of the company for the maintenance work.

Instrumentation Engineer is responsible for preparing the maintenance documents like MOS, field Check list, Job plan, calibration plan, PM schedule.
Able to read P&ID (Process & Instrument) diagram, wiring diagram, Loop drawings.

Hand on experience on field measuring instruments like pressure Tx, Temperature Tx, Vibration Tx, Position Tx

Hand on experience on process analyzers related to water treatment process.

Knowledge on MOV, electric and pneumatic actuators.

Capable of trouble shooting of hard wire related issues in MCC, PLC panel and field LV panels.

Knowledge of CMMS/ MAXIMO

Knowledge of QAQC & safety related documents required for field maintenance activities

Knowledge international codes and standards
A Degree in 0-4 years in Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering
