Install electrical systems including wiring, panels, switchgear, lighting, and control systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.
Ensure installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Perform testing and commissioning of installed systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on-site.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other technicians.
Maintain accurate records of installations and service reports.
Provide customer support and ensure client satisfaction during and after installation.
Follow company procedures and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications:
Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in electrical installations (minimum 2 years preferred).
Knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with industrial or commercial electrical systems.
Familiarity with switchgear, transformers, and control panels.
Basic knowledge of PLCs and automation systems.
Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, First Aid).
Working Conditions:
Field-based work at various client locations.
May involve working in confined spaces, heights, or outdoor environments.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
