Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Installation Designer - BIM to join our multidisciplinary engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in design coordination, BIM modeling, and installation layout for complex infrastructure and metro projects.

This role requires strong technical and communication skills to ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and system installations within the BIM environment.

Key Responsibilities

1-Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for MEP, Communication, and System Installations using Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.

2-Coordinate and resolve clashes between disciplines (civil, architecture, structure, and systems) through BIM collaboration workflows.

3-Generate shop drawings, as-built drawings, and detailed installation plans aligned with site execution requirements.

4-Work closely with design leads and construction teams to ensure design intent and constructability are maintained.

5-Implement and follow BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project standards in compliance with ISO 19650.

6-Participate in technical coordination and design review meetings, providing BIM-related support and visualizations.

7-Contribute to 4D (scheduling) and 5D (quantity) BIM integration to support project planning and cost management.

8-Ensure data accuracy, version control, and documentation throughout all design phases.

Qualifications & Skills

1-Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Architectural Engineering.

2-Minimum 7-10 years of BIM-based design experience, preferably in metro, rail, or large-scale infrastructure projects.

3-Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 / ACC.

4-Good understanding of MEP systems, installation methods, and coordination principles.

5-Knowledge of international BIM standards (ISO 19650, PAS 1192).

6-Strong analytical, coordination, and documentation skills.

7-Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary, multicultural environment.

8-Fluent in English (written and spoken).
