Delivery and Installation Manager (Furniture Manufacturer) Company Overview: We are a leading manufacturer of kids furniture for school, nursery, and private, seeking an experienced Delivery and Installation Manager to oversee the efficient coordination and execution of all delivery and installation processes. With a focus on customer satisfaction and quality service, this position plays a vital role in ensuring the timely and successful delivery and setup of our furniture products. Responsibilities: - Manage and supervise a team of delivery drivers, installers, and helpers to ensure smooth operations and adherence to company standards. - Oversee the scheduling and routing of deliveries, installations, and pickups, maintaining an organized and efficient workflow. - Coordinate with internal departments, such as production, sales, and customer service, to meet delivery deadlines and customer requirements. - Monitor delivery and installation activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices. - Conduct regular training sessions for delivery drivers and installers to enhance their skills and knowledge. - Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for delivery, installation, and pickup processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency. - Collaborate with the sales team to provide accurate delivery quotes and estimates to clients. - Liaise with clients and communicate delivery schedules, resolving any issues or concerns promptly and professionally. - Ensure all necessary tools, equipment, and resources are available for delivery and installation teams to perform their duties effectively. - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, installations, and pickups, including customer signatures and feedback. - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to delivery logistics and installation techniques. - Generate reports and provide regular updates to management regarding delivery and installation performance metrics. - Resolve any customer complaints or issues related to the delivery and installation process, ensuring customer satisfaction. Requirements: - Proven experience in managing delivery and installation operations, preferably within the furniture industry. -Experience in joinery and carpentry work - Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. - Strong knowledge of delivery logistics, installation techniques, and safety protocols. - Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members. - Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary. - A valid driver\'s license. - Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the furniture industry.
