JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Accountabilities

Perform inspection as per established ITP and conform work carried complies with applicable codes, standard and specifications

Report inspection findings to all concerned personnel through relevant Mariner Module and raise punch list as applicable

Coordinate and liaise with classification society, third party inspection agencies, client and other trades, to ensure adherence to related standards

Perform in-process inspections as per established in-process inspection program

Participation in work identification as required

Generate inspection reports timely and accurately in accordance with QC reporting rules.

Propose NCIR for identified non-conformances, based on the finding of inspections.

Report QC supervisor and Engineer for daily quality issues

Maintain house- keeping on the job location.

Qualification / Experience & Skills:

Degree / Diploma in relevant field

CSWIP 3.1 Qualified Inspector or

AWS CWI

Minimum 3 years of experience in similar role.

Qualified CSWIP 3.1 or AWS CWI Inspector.

Should be conversant with applicable techniques & standards.

Knowledge and Experience in ship repair, conversion and new building projects.
