Key Accountabilities

• Perform inspection as per established ITP and conform work carried complies with applicable codes, standard and specifications
• Report inspection findings to all concerned personnel through relevant Mariner Module and raise punch list as applicable
• Coordinate and liaise with classification society, third party inspection agencies, client and other trades, to ensure adherence to related standards
• Perform in-process inspections as per established in-process inspection program
• Participation in work identification as required
• Generate inspection reports timely and accurately in accordance with QC reporting rules.
• Propose NCIR for identified non-conformances, based on the finding of inspections.
• Report QC supervisor and Engineer for daily quality issues
• Maintain house- keeping on the job location.

Qualification / Experience & Skills:

• Degree / Diploma in relevant field
• CSWIP 3.1 Qualified Inspector or
• AWS CWI
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar role.
• Qualified CSWIP 3.1 or AWS CWI Inspector.
• Should be conversant with applicable techniques & standards.
• Knowledge and Experience in ship repair, conversion and new building projects.
