Job Scope:
Perform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of in-process and finished products of Precision as well as provide input data/data collection and confirm quality judgement to ensure that the manufactured products are of acceptable and consistent quality and meets the quality standards and customer's requirement.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
? Perform inspections of materials, subassemblies or finished company products according to bill of material (BOM) - JOB ID, Item, Material and ensure conformance to product.
? Conduct stage inspection to ensure that quality considerations are addressed and requirements are achieved at each stage of the product's life cycle in accordance to the specifications drawings/samples provided.
? Prepare machine-wise and/or product-wise First Inspection Report (F.I.R), Work in Progress (W.I.P), and Post Operation Report and submit the same to the QAQC Manager on daily basis.
? Identify defects and prepare Defective Base Report / Over checking report if the product doesn't meet the specification with approval of QAQC Manager and submit the same to the production team to take corrective action and follow-up until resolution.
? Initiate Incident Reports for non-conforming goods, out-of-specification processes, in process failures, etc. Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing.
? Monitor and ensure compliance to regular operating procedures during processing.
? To verify and ensure correctness of code, date of production and other related information affixed on the corrugated boxes.
? Follows simple, standardized and routine written directions for assigned quality assurance inspection operations.
? Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
? To ensure all processes, procedures and activities meet and match those as laid out in company ISO and management procedures.
? Perform any other job/task assigned by the QC Supervisor to accomplish department objectives.
Requirements
Education/ Qualifications
? High School Education or Diploma in a Technical / Mechanical field.
? Special trainings in Plastic or Tool / Die / Mould making preferred.
Experience
? Minimum 3-4 years' experience as Quality inspector preferably in Plastic industry
Functional Skills & Specific Knowledge
?? Working knowledge of relevant testing, measuring & processing methods and operations involved.
? Knowledge of properties and behavior of raw materials used.
? Knowledge of all types of measuring instruments commonly used in Plastic/Tool/Die Labs. Techniques in measuring colours.
? Knowledge of quality standards and procedures.
