Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and Inspector - Civils on a Building Supervision project to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Conduct regular on-site inspections of civil construction projects to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and local building codes Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project documentation Perform quality control checks on construction materials and workmanship Identify and report any deviations from approved plans or safety violations Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve construction-related issues Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of all site visits and findings Enforce safety regulations and ensure adherence to occupational health and safety standards Participate in pre-construction meetings and provide technical advice as needed Stay updated on local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering or construction supervision Professional certification in construction inspection (e.g., ICC Certification) In-depth knowledge of building codes and regulations, particularly those applicable in Dubai Proficiency in construction project management software Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Expertise in civil engineering principles and practices In-depth knowledge of construction materials and methods Experience with quality control and safety procedures in construction Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to various construction sites as needed
